Infant whining...what should I do?

My kids did that too, they're growing out of it. As they get older they begin to learn patience, but it does take time. They'll still holler if I'm not moving fast enough for them at mealtimes, but they're not even two yet. They don't whine nearly as much as they used to. I just tell them to calm down and the food is coming, the whining doesn't make me move any faster.
