Disrespect..race?

almost ever person that I've met or tried to befriend has insulted me with a Mexican joke b/c i look Mexican. I was even friends with this black girl who was a total bigot even a dark hispanic guy made fun of me for looking Mexican. Why are people disprecting me and why can't people leave the Mexicans alone???
