As violence intensifies and Iraq moves even closer to anarchy will the fall of Baghdad = the fall of Saigon?

The Vietnam war came to an end largely because the American people would no longer support the pointless slaughter of their own troops, although they had no problem with the slaughter of countless hundreds of thousands of Vietnamese. This situation is unlikely to be mirrored in Iraq as A) the losses of U.S. troops are far fewer and B) The American government don't care a fig what the American people want.
