Advent Verona Problem!! HELP!!?

i've had my ADVENT verona laptop since christmas 2009, and now a vertical white line has appeared in the very middle of my laptop screen, it appears over the writing & pictures on my laptop screen, and last week it covered my half of my laptop screen, is there a way to fix this, thanks if you helped
