france '84 team was different cl from defenders through to strikers..holland '88 team was probaaly the next best,as for france 2000 i think they were fortunate to win the cup,wasn't it(i think) a late equalizer in 90 mins then a late wonder strike for the golden goal in a game where italy more or less dominated
